Samsung slammed by Chinese state TV over Note 7 recall 'discrimination'

HONG KONG (Reuters) - Chinese state broadcaster CCTV has slammed South Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics Co for what it said was "discrimination" against China consumers in its handling of a global recall of Galaxy Note 7 smartphones to replace batteries.

Takeaway.com valued at 993 million euros in IPO

AMSTERDAM (Reuters) - Takeaway.com, the online food ordering service, said on Friday its shares had been priced at 23 euros each in its initial public offering, giving it a market capitalization of 993 million euros ($1.1 billion).

Sharp says to invest 57.4 billion yen in OLED business

TOKYO (Reuters) - Japan's Sharp Corp said on Friday it will invest 57.4 billion yen($567.81 million) in its organic light-emitting diode (OLED) business as part of a shift towards the production of displays for use in smartphones, automobiles and flat-screen televisions.
