U.S. delays 'quiet car' rules for hybrids, electric cars

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. regulators are delaying rules that would require electric and hybrid cars to alert sight-impaired pedestrians and bicyclists until at least mid-March, according to a recent government filing.
