Australian regulator likely to reject international taxi booking app

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Australia's competition regulator said on Monday it will likely block a proposed international taxi booking app, dealing a major blow to companies fighting the rise of Uber Technologies Inc [UBER.UL] and other ride-sharing firms.
