Samsung Elec confirms agreement to invest in BYD

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korean electronics giant Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said on Friday it has agreed to acquire a stake in Chinese automaker BYD to enhance its electric car parts and smartphone component businesses.
