Brazil will bar fintechs from taking deposits

BRASILIA/SAO PAULO (Reuters) - The Brazilian central bank is proposing barring financial technology companies from taking deposit from borrowers, as part of new rules to govern the fast-growing industry in Latin America's largest economy.
