Ericsson sees global smartphone subscriptions almost doubling by 2022

STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - Global subscriptions for smartphones will almost double by 2022, helping mobile data traffic to eightfold, telecoms network gear maker Ericsson predicted on Tuesday.
