Marvell wins cut in $1.54 billion Carnegie Mellon damages award

(Reuters) - A federal appeals court on Tuesday ordered a reduction in the $1.54 billion damages award that Marvell Technology Group Ltd was ordered to pay Carnegie Mellon University for infringing two hard disk drive patents held by the school.
